Jigsaw Necklaces

I like to give these upcycled jigsaw puzzle pieces a new face, using paints and ink. They come from old jigsaw puzzles, often discarded because they have pieces missing and are no longer useful as puzzles - but they make unusual and elegant necklaces, strung on silver plated chains and finished with a glossy acrylic glaze.

The jigsaw pieces are drilled at the top corners and set with metal eyelets so they can be joined together - silver eyelets for the more sedately coloured ones, and bright, multicoloured eyelets for the bold coloured puzzles.
