The Unexpected Boutique's handmade accessories collection currently features plush fabric animal brooches and Christmas decorations, handcrafted in Yorkshire by Nicolar Bell. Nicolar uses a mixture of new and upcycled fabric, which is stitched by hand and decorated with buttons and embroidery to create these quirky creatures that will pin to your coat, hat, bag, or anywhere else you fancy.
At around 8cm tall, the brooches are quite plump little things that will be eyecatching wherever you pin them. The back of each animal brooch has a safety pin sewn on for attaching.
The Christmas decorations are between 10cm and 12cm tall, and will add an unusual handmade touch to any Christmas tree.
